Builder Profile: Leon Allison, Modern South Builders
Harrison and Cox customer Leon Allison has been building upperbracket custom homes and light commercial buildings in Birmingham for the past 13 years.
Most of his construction is in the Hwy 280 corridor in neighborhoods such as Greystone, Northlake and Highland Lakes.
Allison purchases a lot of columns, capitals, crown molding and ornamentation from Harrison and Cox.
“Harrison and Cox is a great source for the unique moulded millwork that is required when building upper-bracket homes,” said Allison. “They are great suppliers to work with because they always give me excellent service,” he said.
Allison who builds about four homes a year and one or two commercial buildings says that large columns and very detailed crown molding have been popular with his customers lately.
